„With the release of their debut album Seafoam, Kamikaze Girls delivered a record that both underpins their roots on SAD, and takes giant leaps forward in the quality and substance of their output. Since 2014 the Riot Grrrl duo, have used music as a means to challenge attitudes and taboos surrounding mental health. Their aim has always been to show their strength and solidarity to other young people in the same position, and to work alongside other bands in the scene to help stamp out gender stereotypes in music for good. It feels like with Seafoam, they’re reaching ever further out to the dispossessed in the darkness and offering a deeper friendship and consolation which, sometimes, only music can provide.“
